New Appointment: Noah Joins ART as Co-CEO & Head of Korea Global Practice Leader

Noah (Hyungkyun) NOH is a highly accomplished marine reinsurance executive with over two decades of technical underwriting leadership, global market influence, and extensive cross-border experience.

He spent nearly 20 years at Korean Reinsurance Company—one of the top global reinsurers—where he established himself as a premier authority in marine risk. Beginning his career with six years in Casualty and Affinity lines, Noah devoted the majority of his tenure to Marine Reinsurance, culminating in his appointment as Head of Marine. In this role, he directed massive global marine portfolios, leading complex underwriting for

major shipowners, global fleets, and tier-one shipbuilders, with specialized expertise in high-value Builders’ Risks.

Following his leadership at Korean Re’s headquarters, Noah served three years as CEO of Korean Re’s Hong Kong operation, gaining deep regional leadership experience. Throughout his career, Noah has built an exceptional, top-tier international network connecting major shipowners, shipyards, primary carriers, and top-tier global brokerages across key insurance hubs, including London, Singapore, Seoul, and Hong Kong.

At ART, Noah leverages his deep technical underwriting background, Chartered status, and trusted relationships with global capital providers to drive ART’s growth as a leading Managing General Agent (MGA)—bringing world-class capacity, sophisticated risk-transfer structures, and global reach to clients across Asia and international markets.
